The community station, Radio Sol de Almijara, RSA, lies at the heart of the ACSA association.
RSA has no owners and is a non-profit socio-cultural organisation
using all its resources for its projects.

Negotiations are progressing with the Junta de Andalucía toward official recognition and licensing of Radio Sol de Almijara as Andalucía's first international cultural radio station

    Dr Dorothy Price says

"This is the culmination of months of hard work by dedicated, multi-cultured individuals determined
to serve the community," says founding member Dr Dorothy Price.

"It is an alternative educational and cultural resource that will inform, entertain and involve international residents and visitors. Our energies are directed initially at establishing and promoting the radio station."

   Dr Benjamin Dwyer says

Fellow founding member, Dr. Benjamin Dwyer, adds that RSA will be a fresh alternative to traditional commercial broadcasting and will feature music, information, perspectives and interviews seldom heard along the Costa del Sol.

He concludes, " if you're curious, intelligent, engaged and open minded, then you'll be amazed
and delighted by the diverse and unorthodox programming we have for you."
