FAQs  Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't you create several specialized radios?

As a cultural radio station in English, we have a duty to satisfy a broad range of majority and minority tastes, and across all ages, on only one wavelength.

We do not have the resources to create other radios, like BBC and other radio stations with their budgets of millions. So we cannot provide a radio for classical music, one for jazz, one for pop, one for news, etc.

This is why RSA offers a selection of programmes and a wide range of music, unlike other stations which concentrate mainly on pop music, for instance.
